Great kite, but that ugly Sky Tower ruins the skyline.
This must be a new-ish event! Where was it held exactly? Bastion Point?
This is one of the truly great photos taken of our kites.
The bear is a Peter Lynn Kites midi-bear called Grizz that belongs to the NZ Kitefliers Association (NZKA). The top of the NZKA logo is just visible on the T shirt. Members of the NZKA supported the Mercy Hospice by flying their large kites at the Big Kids Kite Day. See you there in 2008.
The BKKD is a fundraiser for the Mercy Hospice Auckland where I work in Marketing and Funding Development. This is a wonderful shot that I would like to use in our newsletter. Is that OK?

Love the title of the festival. Pooh Bear definitely is a universal symbol, isn’t he??
