I had same type of effect when watching the exhibition…
Also was so seductive for me the “visible” silence of each picture, something in between a lost memory and a dream…

reminds me of when i passed by a house on brougham street in wellington, and someone had left the curtain drawn -you could see thier underpants hanging on a clothes hook on the wall of what looked like a former living room now being used as a bedroom - most probably by flatters!
