I was passing through Matakana (my two previous posts) on my way to the Tawharanui Regional Park. While there, on the trail to Tokatu Point, I met this friendly herd of Hereford Cattle. Some of Auckland’s Regional Parks are used to showcase sustainable farming. Hereford cattle are picked for breeding as they are friendly to people.
The Great Barrier Island gorgeous on the background.

So relaxing view!
Beautiful location for the cows to graze.
What a fabulous view those grazing cows have ….
I see a lot of hamburgers and beef steaks in that photo!
