This time it is the old Customhouse building’s turn to get a face lift. It was designed by architect Thomas Mahoney in the French Renaissance style and built in 1889.

    What a striking grouping and colour! (Also so nice to see that some places value keeping up the maintenance on buildings – unlike Africa…!

    Very eye-catching wrap and it doesn’t look out of place against those streamlined towers :)

    It’s nice to see old buildings getting restored and renovated. Many of them are such historical treasures.

    Super colors (I’m sure you wait specially for the red bus:)) Auckland seems to be very friendly and smiling city!
