the ferry

The  ferry from Waiheke island  makes its way around Browns island on its way to Half Moon Bay. Rangitoto island in the background. This is the car ferry service to and from Waiheke. The passenger service runs from downtown Auckland.

    Its more correct to say its the “Waiheke car/freight ferry”, as several thousand people travel daily on the high speed passenger ferries to/from Auckland, this isn’t one of them!
