Starlight Symphony

Thousands of people gathered yesterday at the Auckland Domain to watch the Starlight Symphony, graced this year by world famous New Zealand opera Diva: Dame Kiri Te Kanawa.

The Skycity Starlight Symphony is a massive performance which includes the Auckland Philharmonia, the Skycity Massed Choir and a variety of performers. The show culminates with a laser show and fireworks. The audience are invited to make a donation or purchase a light stick. Every year a charity is selected to be the recipient of the funds raised. This years funds will go to Kidz First. It was a night to be remembered!
