Once in a while we all like to go out of town… Last week I went Hamilton, 120km south of Auckland. A beautiful drive along the magnificent Waikato river. It was raining but I stopped in Huntly to admire the Waikato and take this photo. The Huntly Power Station was commissioned in 1983, has a turbine hall 403 m. long and chimneys 150 m high.
